Childhood Behaviors Success Skills – Introduction to Behavior Modification
Do you want to help your child fulfill their potential and overcome behaviors which challenge them to meet their potential? Behavior Success Skills provides the tools you need! This course will provide an introduction to cognitive behavioral practices and methods to overcome behaviors which keep you and your children from fulfilling their potential. Each workshop consists of three hours consisting of group led discussions, method review, pre-planned solution seeking and role play. Each session will end with a review and group discussion. Some of the topics touched upon are: Why do children Misbehave?, What does misbehavior look like?, More importantly, what does it communicate?, What are triggers to inappropriate behavior?, Overcoming inappropriate behaviors within the family dynamic, cognitive mediators, behavior skills and much more. These workshops are experiential and information and are not intended for therapeutic purposes.
